June 12th

The surface activity increased quite a bit last night. March Browns, small pale duns, lots of Caddis and even saw one huge stonefly. Last hour of light was spent holding the boat in position while my buds John and Matt were taking turns casting to rising fish and catching them. No big fish yesturday though a couple were missed and one broke off. Water temperature was 60 degrees. The fishing was the best so far this year. Will be back on the river Wednesday, hope to get some more pictiures up. Stay tuned!
